Tugboat Soul: Slater, Missouri, United States; Riverbend formed in Gilliam Missouri in 2009. The group combines blues and southern rock to form a jam oriented sound like no other in the area. The twists and turns and ups and downs, lead the group's jams down the currents of the Missouri River all the way to the delta of the mighty Mississippi. Profoundly influenced by the sounds of Warren Haynes, Albert King, Eric Clapton and The Allman Brothers Band, The Riverbend Band continue to wave the free flag of the blues, while representing the next generation of the sound.
